These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Next Europe mobile application (“the App”),
the backend platform, and the associated connected vehicle services provided by Autoware Lab Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By creating an account, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read,
understood, and agreed to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using the App.

1. Eligibility and User Requirements
1.1 Minimum age requirement
The App is intended exclusively for users aged 18 or older, as it enables remote control and monitoring of motor vehicles. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
1.2 Authorized users
You may use the App only if:

you are the verified owner of a compatible vehicle, or
-
you have been explicitly authorized by the owner.
1.3 Verification
We may request proof of vehicle ownership or authorization at any time.
2. Description of the Service
The App provides digital vehicle services, including but not limited to:

Remote vehicle control (e.g., lock/unlock, climate control adjustments, horn, etc.)
-
Real-time and historical vehicle status (battery level, tire pressure, open doors/windows, range, etc.)
-
Location-based features (Find My Car, trip history, route replay)
-
Vehicle diagnostics visualization
-
Push notifications for vehicle events and system alerts
-
Secure access to connected vehicle services
2.1 Requirements for use
The App requires:
-
a stable Internet connection
-
a compatible vehicle
-
proper installation of additional vehicle-side software provided by Autoware Lab Ltd.
2.2 Feature availability
Not all features are available for all vehicle models. Unavailable features may not appear in the App.
2.3 Changes and enhancements
We may update, improve, restrict, remove, or modify App features at any time. Some features may require the latest App version to function.
3. Account Registration and Management
3.1. Creating an account
To access the App, you must register by providing:

a valid email address

a secure password
3.2. User responsibility
You are responsible for:

keeping your credentials secure
-
all actions performed under your account
-
notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access
3.3. Account deletion
To request deletion of your account, contact: license@autowarelab.com. We will verify your identity and process your request according to our Privacy Policy.
4. Safety, Responsible Use, and Restrictions
4.1. Safe operation
You must not use the App while operating a motor vehicle. You agree to use all features in a safe and lawful manner.
Certain remote functions may automatically be blocked when the vehicle is in motion. However, the user remains fully responsible for safe operation of the vehicle.
4.2. Prohibited activities
You may not:

use the App for illegal or harmful purposes

attempt unauthorized access to a vehicle
-
interfere with or disable vehicle systems
-
use the App in a manner that could endanger safety
-
access or attempt to access connected vehicle data without authorization
-
engage in abusive or fraudulent behavior
5. Abuse Detection, Security, and Account Restrictions
5.1. Abuse and suspicious activity
We reserve the right to limit, suspend, or disable accounts in cases of:
-
repeated failed authentication
-
suspicious or harmful behavior
-
misuse of vehicle control functions
-
security risks or attempted breaches
Automated detection systems may be introduced in future versions.
5.2. Investigations
We may investigate suspected violations and take corrective actions, which may include:

disabling account access
-
blocking vehicle control commands
-
restricting features
-
contacting authorities when required by law
6. Service Availability and Maintenance
6.1. Service interruptions
The App or some vehicle-connected services may become temporarily unavailable due to:

maintenance or updates
-
server outages
-
technical issues
-
connectivity problems
6.2 Right to suspend the service
We may suspend or limit service availability without prior notice when necessary.
6.3 No guarantee of uninterrupted service
You acknowledge that continuous, uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
7. Software Updates and Changes
7.1 Updates
We may provide updates that:

enhance performance
-
improve security
-
modify features
-
introduce new functionalities
Some updates may be required for continued use of the App.
7.2 Continued use
By continuing to use the App after an update, you accept any modifications introduced.
